Groff's Content Farm sells beef, lamb, eggs and broiler chickens. We are a transitional certified organic farm - that means we are in the process of completing our certification. We will be fully certified in the fall of 2005.

Our animals are pasture raised and finished on grass. This takes longer than feedlot grain finishing, but increases the health benefits of the meat without compromising taste or quality. Some of the health benefits are:

More omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E and beta carotene.

Less total fat and omega-6 fatty acids (which are linked to cancer, obesity, allergies and Alzheimer's disease).

Fewer calories - A 6 oz. grass-fed steak will have 100 fewer calories than a grain-fed one!
